The pitch
Letters From Beyond is a short seance played with a mouse or a finger. A departed spirit writes three sealed letters, each shown with its full SHA-256 fingerprint before you touch anything, and your first act is to burn two of them unread.
You shelter objects, give the spirit a number and pick a word in its verse. The count that follows leaves one object, and the spared letter names it. The burned letters are revealed too, and the fingerprints, the verse walk and the count can all be checked outside the game.

How to play
- Rest your hand on the table. When the three sealed letters appear, open THE RECORD and copy the three fingerprints.
- Tap a seal once to warm it and again to burn it. Burn two without reading them.
- Tap six of the twelve objects to shelter them, then give the spirit a number from 1 to 99.
- Pick any word in the first line of the verse. The count begins where that walk ends.
- When one object remains, break the spared seal and check the letters against the fingerprints.
Controls
Mouse to click. Esc or P pauses.
